Darcy Oligney of Northland, Wisconsin, won the national
title in the Masters 2 division at the Masters National Championship
on Jan. 26-27 in Fox River Grove, Ill. (As reported in the February
7, 2008, issue of the Iola Herald.) The event was hosted by the
Norge Ski Club. Darcy (A2B5D1-C) has been a member of the Wrolstad
Family Reunion Planning Committee for years, was a member of the
family group visiting Norway in 1988 at the 550th anniversary of
Hallvard Gratop, and is the great-great grandson of John Olsen Wrolstad
(A2-B) a decorated hero of the Civil War. |
